I was thinking dupont becuase I couldnt think of anything that sounded right, but now that you say it I know for sure. In my opinion that is the only thing BASF has done worth a shit. My nieghbor had/has? not sure if it's away for winter, but has a BMW 328i that he painted that color. His family owns a body shop. Not sure if I like it on the 328 but he added some nice chromed M3 wheels which helped dress it up. Some days I would look at it, it would look mostly green, then other purple. In the evening it was almost black or very dark anyway. Crazy cool IMO. Its crazy that even ten years later for still wont release the make up of that paint. One of my instructors when I was in school had to repair and paint one of those and ford still sends someone out to mix the paint, watched him paint to make sure he didnt try to keep some of the paint, and then cleaned his equiptment out and took the unused paint with him.
