I have gone in the past but it really sucks compared to Detroit or Chicago. This years Detroit show was not very good either. Unless you are looking for a car to buy I would pass. In the Detroit show you can sit in a ZO6, here it will be locked and most likely roped off.

I went like two years ago and thought it absolutely sucked.

90% of the cars they had there I saw on the trip to the show right there on the highway with me. They barely had anything sweet. I think I spent 10 minutes walking around and then got bored looking at the same shit I could have seen at Ricart.

I don't know if it has changed though...

i went to the Columbus show last year, it blew! it was like walking around a car lot, the only thing that was cool about it was they had bikes and a couple dragsters there, nothing like top fuel but OK. The only cars you couldn't sit in were the new Escalade, The shelby gt500, the gt40, and the Saturn sky, and the high end cars like Aston martin and lambo, every thing else was fair game

found some pics

I take my son every year. I think it sucks personally. My son on the other hand likes to collect the brochures, and act like he's driving the cars. Its funning watching a 7 year work a manual transmission! Especially when his acting looks better than my real life driving.

I take it for what it is. It's never going to be like Detroit, but it can be fun. I went last year, and I'll go again this year. The only thing that really bothers me is the people. For instance last year after getting in the Z06 the only thing some woman had to say was "the transmission is sooooo notchy". I enjoy walking around with my girlfriend and she enjoys the cars.

Hey I was there too. We should go Friday?? Let me/us know. But I agree it was fun to walk around and see the different cars.

I'm closing Friday. I can do Thursday or Saturday though.

You have a job? Where at? I can't go on either of those days. I could go next week any day but Tuesday.

How much is parking?

Depends where you park and how far you want to walk.

You can't see anything at the show here that you couldn't at a local dealer as thats all it is. It's only $8 to get in but hell the detroit show is only $12, after being at thae Detroit show ours is boring in comparison.

Spaceghost, I agree Detroit was lacking this year.

i bet they still wont let u get in the camaro and challenger. hopefully u can get in the gt500. the new ford superduty and the new gm trucks might be fun to see.

If you've been in an 05+ Mustang GT, you've been in a GT500 :)

Yeah like everyone else said, it is like visiting all the different car dealerships at one place. Even most of the cars and the people working there are from the dealerships. My wife and I like to go still. It is cool to see some of the cars and stuff. My wife and I are talking of going this weekend.

I normally park over at the convention center parking at the corner of Vine and Front. It is like $7 for all day weekend parking.
