Hardwood Floor Install Needed

I need to have Hardwood floors installed in the first floor of my condo in the next week or two. I already have 1 estimate and would like to get another. Im not looking for a hack job so professionals only please. If I wanted a hack job I would do this myself. If anyone is interested, post or PM me and we can set up a time to give me an estimate.

Do them yourself. They are extremely easy to do and all the tools needed for solid hardwood is easily rented.

Especially the "floating" floors. Really easy and look damn good. I did a kitchen, small dining room in an afternoon and it was the first time I'd ever done something like that.

Hardwood, you need:

Wood

A joiner (for that "machined fit" look)

A planer

A router (substitute with table saw if you're confident)

A table saw

Lacquer (stain if you want.)

 

Choose a good wood, make your joints right, and lacquer it well and it will outlive your grandkids.

and a flooring nailer and pay somebody to finish sand the floor wich makes a huge mess
