I have a 94 s10 the middle age body style and I found a complete front end off of a 98 s10 grill bumpers lights hood fenders all that jazz. Will it directly bolt up or no? I have examined the two the only issue I for see so far is either running a 98 radiator or doing some fab work. Anyone know if these parts dispite the different years and body style are interchangeable?

they bolt right up, you need the whole front clip though. fenders, hood, coresupport, and bumper. the rads interchange, and 99% of the parts interchange. They didn't change much in the GenII other than the looks. the bed will bolt right on too, get the rear bumper

I'm no expert, but I think the minor styling change that happened in 1998 was only cosmetic, it should bolt up.

I could be wrong, since I've never replaced a front clip. You might have better luck on the numerous S10 forums out there. I'm on zr2usa.com, but if you're just talking about a regular S10, you'd be better off on the s10forum.com.

I had a buddy that did the swap and I am pretty sure it bolted right up (it was a while ago)

I have headlights, turn signal/corner lights, hood, rear bumper, stock spindles, MAF, plug wires, coil, fan, stock exhaust manifolds, air box, and some other stock parts off my 2003 v-6 if you need any parts. My parents shed is packed full of the stock parts from my truck. I also have the extreme wheels with tires 235/55/16 I think with about 7,000 miles on them if you are interested. I have 20's and lowered the truck 2/3 inches more than the factory zq8 package. My stock rims come in contact with the steering knuckle on the spindle now. if you need anything for your truck, let me know and I'll see if I have it.

hell i dont know i dont stay up on chevy parts I am kind of tired of dumping money in my focus so I am going to dump it in my s10. By spring time should have a 454 in it.

Hell if it's 2wd I'd just drop a GN engine and trans in it, it'll fit allot easier too.

Lots of turbo cars don't have MAF's. actually a MAP sensor is better suited to the job.

your going to bringin up the rear then. Hope your not doing this to race, Hell the club I'm in you bring a 10 second car to the show and you get laughed out. You need to be doing 9.90's to hang with the slow guys and if you want to take on the big dogs there's a GN going 8.5's and a Stick shift 57 goin 8.90's :D guess what they're all running....

like it was said earlier...all you need to swap from the 94-97 frontend to a 98+ front is the 98+ core support,headlights,grille...as long as both trucks are s10's you can use the original bumper you have if you want. if your truck is a sonoma and you are going to a s10 front then you will need the s10 bumper due to the dip in the top of a sonoma bumper. i swapped the front on my 97 sonoma to a 98+ bravada but now i am going back to 97 Blazer with composite headlights.

Larry, I looked on ebay and craigslist and the 16 inch xtreme rims and tires go for about $500. Would you want them for $400? Hell the tires them selfs should be worth that and considering one wheel from the factory is over $300....let me know if you want to work something out. I also need tires for my wif'e sunfire and my Grand Am before winter hits too hard. Doesnt you shop do tires too?

Nope. All street machines, with cages of course, but only 6 pointers, I think only the GN has a full cage in it. The 8.50 GN is driven on the street, hell he had it at the meeting a few weeks ago, This one gets about 5k miles a summer put on it;

Thats also on the "small shot" for shake down runs, he tore into it after that because of a vibration, wasted the thrust bearing.

There's quite a few serious cars in Akron, a certain 9 second AMC Gremlin drives the car here to Youngstown to race. Him, that green/silver fox, and the Mach I have been going at it for a few years.
