frankthetank Posted April 21, 2007 Report Share Posted April 21, 2007 My neice has a 96 cabrio and the oil light came on the other day. Had it checked, no codes. oil pressure is fine. I need to get this damn light to at least go off. Anyone know how to turn it off? it beeps loudly and constantly and doesn't shut off even after 2 hours of driving. frankthetank Posted April 21, 2007 Author Report Share Posted April 21, 2007 yeah that damn little oil can light. The temp is fine, its running below the middle even on a 2 hour trip. The oil pressure is fine as well. I'm not very familiar with VW's.
