Slimpsy1647545505 Posted May 2, 2007 Report Share Posted May 2, 2007 Got a classic ram head for the ramcharger today from the junkyard for only 10 bucks. . . going @ 50-60 on ebay I thought it was a steal. .. but it's a little tarnished. Clifford Automotive Posted May 3, 2007 Report Share Posted May 3, 2007 yes chrome will take away some of your detail. not all but some. acid dip, nickel, nickel, copper, clear. The copper is only done in custom chrome. Shops in this area don't really use copper anymore. They had to be grandfathered in. I have a friend in Cincinnati who owns a chroming shop that is this way.
