evan9381
i didnt realize it was illegal. i saw something at the zoo asking not to do it due to some bug or fungus or something or another
jeffmeden
Franklin county just went into a firewood quarantine, due to movement of the Emerald ash borer which is a very destructive bug that gets around in the bark of cut wood. So, as always, be careful where you get/take your wood! Fine is $2000 or something, if I recall. edit: heres a link for anyone more curious http://www.columbusdispatch.com/dispatch/content/local_news/stories/2007/05/18/ashborer_web.html and from this site: http://wood.osu.edu/hort/EAB.htm "Violators of any of these quarantines in Ohio are subject to a $4000.00 fine plus litigation fees." Don't get caught with your pants down on this wood issue! (ok sorry last dick/fart joke out of me)
