Dave1647545494
it takes a special set of tools to install gears even I pay other p[eople to do mine and I work on cars 60 hours a week
Kevin R.
it takes a special set of tools to install gears even I pay other p[eople to do mine and I work on cars 60 hours a week My dad and I did mine without much of a problem. None of us being super mechanics or anything. It all comes down to taking your time and being super exact with measurements and the installation. If you don't have a couple days or even a week to devote to it then don't even attempt, but it was worth saving the $200 or so dollars IMO. Clifford Automotive
def helps to have the tools. just run a piece of paper through the gears if it rips there too tight. no shit.
Brandon
We can have it done in a day, for very inexpensive as well. Make certain you have the shim set, or master install kit with your gears.

OSUGT
I had mine done by Bill McGraw in West Jefferson about 4 years ago. His grandson is on this board. I never had a problem. If I remember, he did them for around 200 plus parts. good luck

stolen 5.0
I used to do them for about $150 as long as you bring all the parts and feel like driving to my garage
