Bigbird
http://www.autoblog.com/2007/09/04/corvette-blue-devil-gets-a-familiar-name-zr1/ So apparently the new beast won't be SS, Bluedevil, or Z07. I can't believe ZR1 never came to my mind though...
Nitrousbird
ZR1 is a great choice in names. Think about it, the C4 ZR1 was really different because of it's DOHC 32V engine. The C6 is very different because they went with forced induction. SS just didn't work IMO, and Z07 didn't make the name different enough. Draco-REX
Wow.. That's really cool.. Long time ago I almost bought a ZR1. But it was *just* out of my price range. Nice to see the legend live on.
Bigbird
I agree, I have always wanted a C4 ZR1...maybe when I get old lol. I def dont think SS would be good, considering there has never been a Corvette SS, and yeah like you said, Z07 just isnt different enough. Dr. Apex
Kickass, glad to see the ZR1 moniker back.
Patrick
Thank you, Mr. Zora. Helping to lay the foundation for an awesome car, lightweight and powerful. (even more so than the 'Vette already was.) Looking forward to seeing one of these in the future.
