Its a remake The Omega Man and The Last Man on Earth. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0480249/ Plot Synopsis: Robert Neville (Will Smith) is a brilliant scientist, but even he could not contain the terrible virus that was unstoppable, incurable, and man-made. Somehow immune, Neville is now the last human survivor in what is left of New York City and maybe the world. For three years, Neville has faithfully sent out daily radio messages, desperate to find any other survivors who might be out there. But he is not alone. Mutant victims of the plague -- The Infected -- lurk in the shadows... watching Neville's every move... waiting for him to make a fatal mistake. Perhaps mankind's last, best hope, Neville is driven by only one remaining mission: to find a way to reverse the effects of the virus using his own immune blood. But he knows he is outnumbered... and quickly running out of time. From the Trailers looks like a Zombie/Vampire movie. I have yet to see a trailer for it on TV which is odd with it being a Will Smith movie. Possible Spoiler below: Oh, from what I've read and seen in the previews, don't expect this to be a 'zombie movie'. That's just my best guess as everything is pretty vague. The gas would basically be varnish after that long. Also it appears he has electricity to use a treadmill. I got a car to start the other day that has had the same gas in its tank for 18 years. Its just kinda still frames that move slightly. Now while that may sound lame, it's the story that makes up for it. Quick synopsis, guy wakes up in New York city while there for work. No one is around, nothing works as far as electronics go, and he has no way to contact his family which he feels he has neglected by working too much. The episodes are all 2-3minutes long and follow his journey across the united states as he makes his way from coast to coast. It's really pretty sweet. The book was published in 1954 by Richard Matheson and was supposed to take place in the late 70's.
