Massie02GT
So I bought the Ford Racing C springs for my 02 GT. I've been quoted anywhere from 300-450 by shops around here to have them installed. I've never done this before, and wondered if anyone on here would be up to helpin me do this. I'll pay whoever does, and provide drinks/food. I'm in Circleville..about a half hour south of Columbus.
Bam
Jesus, 400?!! If the newer mustangs are anything like the foxbody's, I can have it done in an hour or two. If you can't get anyone to help you I should have some free time in about 3 weeks, once winter break is here, etc, but honestly, its extremely basic. Stimmel1647545512
Alot of people are scared to mess with springs because if you are retarded the front springs can shoot out and kill you, but that sounds like a price for the springs and having them installed. Not JUST the install... I would be down for giving you a hand buy my garage space in columbus is occupied by two foxbodies right now....and i just got done doing springs on one

Massie02GT
who the hell quoted you that? Coughlins here in town quoted me the 300, and Hardens quoted me around 400-425. They said it was like an 8 hour job. I can wait till whenever if someone wants to help..I'm really not in any big hurry.

Dammit Charlie
I'm running C springs on my car. They handle great, and were a breeze to install. However.. the ride is very firm. You don't need a spring compressor. You can do this in your garage with basic hand tools,a jack and jack stands. I reccomend install new struts at the same time though. Struts and shocks off of a bullit or mach will work perfect. I will be switching over to a coilover setup in the front though, with 14'' 175lb springs.
