That's the kind of thing that only happens, well, once every hundred-thousand miles! I had to take a picture, I love the damn thing. It's been everywhere. It was my dad's before I got it, and he bought off his friend when it had 60,000ish miles on it. It's a 97 dakota, 4x4 with the 5.2 Liter V8, trusty old 318. Original engine and transmission, and the rearend's only been rebuilt once, about 10,000 miles ago. I thought it might have a shift kit in it making it hit hard. NOS50 Posted January 20, 2008 Report Share Posted January 20, 2008 My 85 4Runner has 306,000 and my Dads 92 Toyota has 256,000.We also have an LS400 with 308,000 so Japanese cars FTW for relaibility.200,000 is the norm on Japanese imports.I'm glad to see people have good luck with Domestics though,especially Mopars.Congrats. You can say that for most cars from the 80's, early 90's, but definitely more so they Japanese cars. That's a retarded reason to say Japanese trucks are bad trucks though, that was 20 years ago.
