So I new this was going to happen, soon enough, so I kept the camera in the car. Hopefully you can see it, I got blocked out of the exit I was trying to take, so I had to take the picture while driving down 315 North!!!

That's right 222,222 miles! That's the kind of thing that only happens, well, once every hundred-thousand miles! I had to take a picture, I love the damn thing. It's been everywhere. It was my dad's before I got it, and he bought off his friend when it had 60,000ish miles on it. It's a 97 dakota, 4x4 with the 5.2 Liter V8, trusty old 318. Original engine and transmission, and the rearend's only been rebuilt once, about 10,000 miles ago. I just love the damn thing, almost more than my Stealth....figured I'd share.

I wouldn't dare call it a beater, but it's what I drive when the weather's too bad for the stealth, or I need to haul something.

Yea, it's as good a chrysler automatic can be, it's got a kind of slam into 2nd that's been there as long as I've had it, and the guy who had it before said the same thing. It hasn't gotten any worse and isn't slipping, so i guess I'll just keep changing the fluid.

Nice truck!! ;)

I've got the twin to that truck. Mine does the same thing hitting second. I thought it might have a shift kit in it making it hit hard. My truck is at 184,000 miles has no rust and the interior is perfect.

My 85 4Runner has 306,000 and my Dads 92 Toyota has 256,000.We also have an LS400 with 308,000 so Japanese cars FTW for relaibility.200,000 is the norm on Japanese imports.I'm glad to see people have good luck with Domestics though, especially Mopars.Congrats.

Congrats! What is it an old toyota or nissan? Which body panels are left unrusted?

You can say that for most cars from the 80's, early 90's, but definitely more so they Japanese cars. That's a retarded reason to say Japanese trucks are bad trucks though, that was 20 years ago.
