cptn janks
http://uweekly.com/cowtown/?p=451 Been to Mad Mex in the Last Two Years? Get Free $$ Thursday, January 31 @ 4:09 pm If you’ve been to the Mad Mex in Columbus over the last two years, guess what? They owe you some money. Well, they do if you paid with your credit card, at least. Here’s the deal: Mad Mex and its other restaurants violated a law called the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act by printing the expiration date and last five digits of the card number on receipts. As a result, they were hit with a class action lawsuit. Instead of taking this to trial, Mad Mex has opted to settle the lawsuit - offering everyone affected a $7 gift card. It’s a small consolation prize considering they broke a law for two years that was designed to prevent identity theft… but then again, it’s $7 more than you had 10 minutes ago. So if you ate at Mad Mex between October 1, 2005 - March 31, 2007 and used your credit card, go here to claim your settlement burrito online. Deadline is March 10th.
