evil8
Thats not a good idea. A good rap of the throttle could put that on its side. I have seen a similar setup with 4 legs , much better.
Guest Removed
well if youre smart enought to come up with this then im sure your smart enough not to rap the throttle
evil8
^^I'm not smart enough to overpower my will to rev it up. Impossible!!
Doug1647545489
Cup teams have something like this to break in camshafts. Except that it's not a running engine. They spin it with an electric motor.

natesomer
nascar also does their engine building challanges on engine stands. they build them and let them run on the stand for a min. but they do use the wider 4 wheeled stands, they also use supports that run down to the legs. but still if you dont try to rap it 7000, you should be good. looks good, for a ford. lol
RangerTurbo
my buddy's neighbor had a setup like that, only on 4 legs anchored to the garage floor. It wasn't for breaking in an engine, rather he used it to see how his rebuilt carbs would perform. It was kinda like an engine dyno, where he could apply a small amount of brake to the engine, but wasn't able to measure output. It was cool none the less.
