I quit after the first couple, I guessed right, but if it were not for multiple choice, I would never have gotten any right. I couldn't spend anymore time on it as all it would prove is that I am a good guesser. SO I Fail. Besides Rob, Did you paint your block Hemi Orange? :D Ha Ha Remember that Gem of a post Rob?

we have all had our share. that one was classic for you tho.

I cannot identify engines, this is true. I will give positive rep though, to the person who can tell me what year(s) there were blue engine blocks in Chevys.

can you tell me what was wrong with the very forst corvette off the assm line in 53?

Blue on a Chevy = Blasphemy.

did one once..looks real good to be honest ;)

????what? gm corporate blue was in most older gm corparte cars(BOP) in the 60s and 70's.(gm corporate blue is a dull blue in color. when used in later gms they made it a bit brighter)

that sbc in the s-10 is painted ford light blue. after i painted it chevy orange, he made me pull it and paint it the same color as my motor!

GM Corporate blue was used 78-82 mostly. There were some other though.

Rob, I do not know the answer to your question.

correct but could be found in some 82 up stuff on v-6s and what not

now the first vette refused to start in front of a very large crowd! gm figured out they could not use fiberglass as a ground. so the added wiring to most all ground points on the car. they had had some issues with the proto-type, but used the same fix on the production cars

Lol, I hadn't heard that. I guess GM meaning "General Mishap" is correct.

Oh and Hal the V-6 in my 82 Cutlass was blue but it was a buick motor. 268 or 286 something like that. Fning boat anchor.

Key in there is V-6. I'm only talking the small block Chevy V8's.
