Steve R.
I don't post much on here, mostly 'cause i don't have much to say. a while back i did an intro thread and a few people saw that i had a little civic. i want to say thanks, mostly because if it were not for this forum i probably would have just modded my civic. well to this day i still have the civic, its my dd. About a month ago I Bought a '95 Mustang GT. its in awesome condition, the only thing it is missing is the pony emblem from the grille. so thanks to the guys that steered me away from Honda modding. Kevin R.
Welcome to the SN95 family! Let me know if you ever have any questions I think I have been through mine in and out a 100 times. I am sure most people with em' on here have too. Good call on not modding the Civic.

Guest EM1 2ENVY
how long have you been going to DACC? and your title really strikes me to be unintelligent on your part. How do you consider an import or (civic) rice? just curious.?

Steve R.
well, my age on the left is wrong, i just finished my junior year at DACC. its a great school. Thanks Kevin, and the side pipes sound pretty good, but they kinda seem to me like theyd be really restricted. overall the biggest problem is the car originated in upstate new york, its seen winter, but the rust it has will be fixed this winter season. it goes in the front side like any other muffler and then comes back out the front. its a borla exhaust but heres some pics: http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh39/sredman09/carpics/CIMG0201.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh39/sredman09/carpics/CIMG0204.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh39/sredman09/carpics/CIMG0199.jpg
Steve R.
I feel the opposite. yeah, every one tells me they like how they sound, but im not sold on them, i want to buy a better system, but i have not decided on anything yet. Idk, i kinda like your car, but i couldnt ever really see myself driving it.
Guest EM1 2ENVY
um yeah.... dont get me wrong i love domestics, but what makes you think your in the position to say your not going to pick on my car, or you wouldnt drive it? you drive a bone stock sn95 car, and dont get me wrong i like them. you have to start somewhere, it just brings back old memories of being at the career center driving a clean decently fast civic (this is 3 years ago) i now have a different one, and all the guys in the class had the same mantality, most of them either riding the bus or getting droped off by friends to school because they didnt even have cars. Kevin R.
They are Borla pipes? I didn't recognize the tips as Borla. Keep those bitches and get the SVO side-exhaust skirts some day. They are badass.
Steve R.
???question unanswered??? well, it seems to me that everyone goes and calls hondas and most other imports rice, so i guess i was trying for a good catchy title (ill change it to make you feel better), if you look back at my first post and go look at my intro thread, i originally thought about modding my civic, and turned away from it. i dont see a point in modifying something that otherwise i can get great gas mileage in. Kevin R.
so do you think those are actually worth while to keep? i shouldnt go with a different system? Either way. Depends what direction you want to go with the car. I like the look of pipes out the back personally, but the side pipes with SVO skirts look really good too. Here are my Flowmaster SS pipes. http://memimage.cardomain.com/member_images/4/web/472000-472999/472790_7_full.jpg http://memimage.cardomain.com/member_images/4/web/472000-472999/472790_2_full.jpg
boosted98gst
If your thinking any "import is rice" , you def fit a mustang well.
Steve R.
Kevin, that right there was what i kinda was looking to do with mine, i like the pipes out the back, i just didn't know if the exhaust i have now is better for the performance aspect of my car or whether it was limiting it. um yeah.... dont get me wrong i love domestics, but what makes you think your in the position to say your not going to pick on my car, or you wouldnt drive it? you drive a bone stock sn95 car, and dont get me wrong i like them. you have to start somewhere, it just brings back old memories of being at the career center driving a clean decently fast civic (this is 3 years ago) i now have a different one, and all the guys in the class had the same mantality, most of them either riding the bus or getting droped off by friends to school because they didnt even have cars. seriously, do you honestly have a problem that i said i would rather put money into an American car? "but what makes you think your in the position to say your not going to pick on my car, or you wouldnt drive it?" honestly i didnt think i had to ask permission to speak whats on my mind. and, yes i give you props for having a clean decently fast civic. i hope you enjoy it to the fullest. and i dont know what mentality you speak of ( that hondas are just plain rice?). Steve R.
If your thinking any "import is rice" , you def fit a mustang well. no, i just went with a simple stereotype jackass statement as a thread opener. my civic probably would have ended up ricey, but no from my point of view i dont think imports are rice, i mean there are a alot of them that are, but thats after people screw them up and make them that way. Miller
Nice car - Borla makes great power by the way. Similar systems are capable of similar numbers that Borla produces but switching would be a waste of your time and money.
