so how is this going to be covered under insurance, i mean, will it be considered "back up" or "flood" cuz if its considered flood, we are all screwed. (unless you are allucky enough soul to have purchased flood insurance.

Do you have water backup coverage on your homeowner's policy? Most people don't.

Back in the late 90's.. I want to say 98 or so I used to work on Campus for a few months at Micro Direct (small ass computer company) and high street flooded about like that after a quick storm. It was due to the sewers backing up and water started coming back up the the drain pipes. It was gone in less than 20 minutes.

It's actually happened in front of my house. Quick fast downpour and the drain pipes started backing up. water started coming past the sidewalk and I started to freak out. then 1/2 hour later, it was gone.

a flood is a flood to ins companies. its comprehensive coverage.

Tell that to all of the people that got hit by hurricane Rita and katrina. There is a difference between a flood (not covered by most insurance companies, covered by Flood Insurance) and water/sewer backup.

The air cleaner on that jeep is still above the water level, and Wranglers have drain holes in the floorboards. Just have to remove the rubber plug. That Jeep is good to go!
