Do I NEED a new bellhousing?

I finally got to work on the car some more this weekend. I pulled the bellhousing and found two small holes at the top as seen in the pic. Will it be ok to continue using this one or do I HAVE to replace it?

I'd get a steel one in case it happens again so you don't lose part of your foot....

If you have to ask then just reinstall it. That way we can have you removed from the gene pool.

SFI approved bell housing = really good idea, especially if you're CR stock

I kinda remember the previous owner saying something to the effect that he had to have the clutch and/or trans replaced a couple times under warranty. I'm thinking that this had to have happened while he had the car.

 

I PM'd a guy on LS1Tech that has a McLeod Bellhousing for sale for like $250. Waiting to hear back from him.
