I need your help - MotoRockets.com

So I own the domain www.MotoRockets.com. Right now it's a news site like www.digg.com where users can submit news articles. These articles can then be voted on. The more recent and more votes, the higher on the page they go. I seem to get nothing but spam on there, and nobody really uses it. So, my question, why should I do with www.MotoRockets.com? What would you all like to see? What type of website would you visit regularly? Or should I leave it as a motorcycle news site and try pushing it more?

I think you should turn it into a store for bikers. When I think MotoRockets I think merchandise. It would be very easy just locate some dropshippers pick stuff from their catalogs that you think would sell and display them on your site. Customer pays you retail, you pay dropshipper wholesale, dropshipper sends merchandise to customer with your return address. You can even get a tax id# allowing you to purchase merchandise at wholesale from everyone and sell it at retail. The great thing about dropshipping is an unlimited supply of merchandise and no overhead. Another thing is when you get a lot of traffic to your site you can sell advertising space, that is why everyone wants traffic more traffic the more you charge for advertising. After about 3-5 years you sell the sight for millions. Now when you get going I would be interested in an easy job that pays alot for a little work or at least a great deal on a new set of tires!

:plus1: a store would be pimp! i think it would be easy to get the word out since you already are in contact with hundreds of bikers that always need stuff... and drop shipping would be fairly uncomplicated, but maintaining a store, even if it were online, would be a big hassle

Problem with drop shipping is it's rare to find a MC distributor willing to do it. The big guys all require you to have a store front. I've looked into it quite a bit.

Very true. Store front is a must and sometimes there cant be another dealer within so many miles of an already established dealer.

Yeah, the spam is killing me on that site. I recently gave up trying to clean it.
