DKilbourne
Anyone have any idea if there are better places to sell an old car than Pick 'n' Pull? Looking to get rid of my 98 escort ZX2 with a slipping auto trans and the only place I know of is Pick 'n' Pull. Any suggestions welcome. medium fast
Columbus auto shredder on the corner of Alum Creek, and 104. It is up to almost $ 300 a ton for cars.
DKilbourne
Columbus Motor Speedway. Roll over contest. Funniest thing that I've read in awhile. I'd like to get some money out of it, so I don't think that will happen.

I called and it is $295 a ton for cars. Might be where she ends up. Thanks.

I saw you leaving Chipotle on Georgesville Rd a few months ago (might have been a year who knows, time files), you still had the 93. Had I been two minutes earlier I would have said hello. spankis
What shape is the car in aside from the trans? Everything else work? Miles? I ask because I have 2 cousins in high school, one has a zx2 already, and the other needs a car. Another one might not be so bad if it's fixable and worth it.... Let me know. Had I been two minutes earlier I would have said hello. I sold the car, I think, in October last year. Had to have been before that. Funny how that stuff works. I've seen people in passing that I hadn't seen in years, but couldn't talk to them because it was usually when I was driving the other way. FourString
I wouldn't think much weight would be lost from the car in a roll over contest

FourString
And the fight for the $200 car begins...
medium fast
I wouldnt pay $ 200. That car only weighs probably 3000lbs. So I would barely clear $100. After I factor in gas and my time, its not worth it. I would do $150. I assume he would just take it in himself, he can drive the car in and walk back across the scale. DKilbourne
No fight. Already took it to Columbus Auto Shredding and got a good bit more than $200 for it. Thanks Preston.
NOS50
Scrap was $290.00 a ton.1ton=2000 lbs.I think $200.00 was quite a bit shy.
GonneVille
They pay by Imperial ton? That's odd. I always thought metal prices were by SAE weight, 2000 pounds.
