Dr. Apex
With recent events over this past weekend I thought I would let everyone know a way to get free track time at places like Mid-Ohio, Nelson Ledges, and Putnam Park. National Auto Sport Association(NASA) has a volunteer program that allows you to earn credits torwards getting free track time. Once you sign up you earn 4 points per day of working NASA events doing things like grid and teching cars. It takes 8 points to earn a free day of HPDE and Time Trials as well. Accrue 24 points and get a free 3 day weekend event!! I just did this myself this past weekend to help pay for an event next month and had a pretty fun time doing it(except the rain). Here's the regions site with all the info you need... http://racenasa.nasamidwest.com/ Click on "Volunteer" to learn everything you need for this program. Hope to see some of you next month at Mid-Ohio!!

Dr. Apex
You should, it's actually quite fun working grid getting to see all the cars up close. I forgot to mention they provide water all day, lunch everyday, and dinner on the saturdays. Also you could catch a ride with someone on the track like I did.
