We were doing about 95mph across Paint Creek Lake when I spotted a LEO trying to run us down ( ). I tapped my dad on the shoulder, and made him aware of the situation. We stopped, they caught up. Said, "nice boat, but please slow it down for us." No ticket, but it goes to show that you can't exactly run as fast as you want all the time. I have the full service manual on this little wonder, it is great with nitrous oxide and a hydrostream. The EFI Drag 2.5 is rated at 300 propshaft hp. 9000 rpm operating range.
