Unfortunately, nowadays it's an exscuse for people to go out and make trouble under the shield of a peaceful protest or a "green" statement. I'm not saying all critical mass riders are troublemakers. I'm sure most aren't. But there are a lot of troublemakers who are critical mass riders, and the organizers aren't doing anything to stop them. I don't know what went on off-camera, so I'm not saying either one was at fault. I'm jsut saying that there is a good chance that the cyclist provoked the cop either outside the camera's view, or on a previous pass. This isn't as clear-cut as it may seem.
