Need s handyman/house fix

I have some rotting wood along a deckline on one of my rental homes. It's right by the back door, and I have a quote for a whole new pre-hung exterior door ($200-$300) plus all materials and labor to be $1000...total cost near $1300.

 

I just need someone else that is a handyman/contractor to take a second look and let me know if it looks to be the same amount of work.
