s13
You should tell him to send you the check anyways. Just waste the douchebags time.

TTQ B4U
FWI, I sell a lot on CL and stick by a few rules. I ship nothing. The buyer and I meet face to face, and exchange cash for product. Depending on what it is, I'll have them meet me in a public place such as a local grocery with a bank inside. I figure a crook is less likely to mess around with a bank right next to me with cameras, security and what not. Not to mention it's public. I've never been scammed. Have had my share of requests to ship product though.
cptn janks
read the scam warning page on CL. this is like the first or second one listed. they usually send a fake check, you cash it at the bank. then it gets sent to the clearinghouse and they see its fake, then you are responsible for that money. Akula
Reply, I only work in person, in cash, as there are a bunch of punk Nigerians scamming people out of their cars.
Brrcats
yeah, both of those are definitely scammers, bad grammar, bad spelling are usually two big flags. I agree with the others here, do it in person, and do it in cash. Its the best way to go.
