You'd be surprised what you could do with a Cavalier, especially if it's newer with an ecotech. However, I like to start a little further ahead, that's why i have a F-body. Post a few pics and come out and meet some of us in person, welcome young one.

Ugh, I was at least hoping for an LS Sport or a Z24 or something, not a 4-door with hubcaps and unpainted bumpers, lol.

 

Please save your money and DO NOT mod that car. Save up and buy a nice Z28 or something :cool:

where did i ever say i was modding this car? im said im selling it which has nothing to do with modding the car whatsoever. some guy wants to trade me his 87 conquest for it. i was thinking about it but i dont know

Actually, I was the one who said he should mod the Cavvy, but I didn't realize it was a base 4dr. On the other hand, it would make a hell of a sleeper....

As it is, it's a great little commuter. If I had a long commute, I'd probably go for that.

 

Figure out what kind of fun you want from your car before you buy. If you just want to drag, get an F-body, a Mustang, or just about anything with a small-block Chevy, 5.0, 4.6, or just about any MOPAR V8.

 

If you want to autoX or road-race, you need to do a lot more research.
