2 Sweet
Shits crazy outside. All kinds of stuff flyin around out in my backyard. My neighbor's tree broke in half. Shingles are flying off the rooftops. It's pretty intense out there...
MrMeanGreen
My patio umbrella looks like a clam now. Time to replace
RedRocket1647545505
No kidding. It's the worst I've ever seen. -our roof is missing a crapload of shingles -Neighbor has lost 3 trees -other neighbor lost his gazeebo -wind is opening cabinets in our house. Broke one cabinet door -half of the surrounding corn fields are floating around in the air. -it's hard to even see outside because so much dirt and dust has been stirred up. 2 Sweet
Yeah, our gazeebo was about to fly away so I tied it to the picnic table, and now the gazeebo's frame is bent and halfway collapsed
Chad is Dead
I've been keeping a eye on the tree outside of my condo. It's bending almost in half and I'm just waiting for it to snap.

Jay 2001 TA
Three street lamps have come down in my parking lot at work. One lamp fell on top of three cars. Trees/street signs uprooted etc...
mmrmnhrm
Power's been out for about an hour now. Batteries holding up well, but I'm just pissed because I was expecting to make a nice dinner, and now it looks like I'll be stuck with egg salad sandwich, some tuna, and a couple of pickles
ghost face
Couple of the neighbors tree snapped here in my neighborhood too. It kinda looks like that carfax commercial where it shows a car being flooded and the trees and stuff is going side ways...

TTQ B4U
Why is it news crews can be in 50mph wind and their microphones are perfectly clear, yet in a light summer breeze most cell phones suck
Kevin R.
Half of my gutter is hanging off the side of the house. That is all I have as of now.
Akula
Barn roof is missing metal, barn siding is missing a few boards, blew my brand new chicken coop right over onto its back, this is crazy. My mother-in-law has a bunch of trees/branches down.
Scotty2Hotty
We've been getting parts of Hurricane Ike down here in Louisiana. We ended up having to use an up-armored humvee due to the high winds and debris flying around. We had sustained gusts up over 85mph through out the day. koolrayz
tree fell on the powerlines in the front of my property. They are replaceing a pole and the lines now. There are alot of big tree's near my shop so I moved the TA over to the garage at the house, much safer. On another note there was a turkey in my back yard yesterday. Benner
We probally have 500 to 600 pounds total from all the different tree branches in our yard. Other than that no problems.

MrMeanGreen
I just toured the exterior, and my house wasn't touched. I did walk out front to see my neighbor's 100' maple tree laying about 10' into my yard, that's how close it fell to taking out the right side of my house. And my poor patio umbrella
twistedfocus1647545489
One tree split down the middle. It'll have to be cut down. Have pics, will post later. Now I'm just scared I may not have any shingles on the roof.
ImUrOBGYN
Winds strong here, but I wonder if it's not helping being in a valley (Delaware). We lost a couple small pieces of siding near the attic vent. Not sure on the shingles, but from what I could see, we're fine. 90% of the homes on my block will need some amount of reshingling. Next door neighbors lost their flag pole, too. My best friend, Norm, lives in Houston. He needs some roofing and a new backyard fence, but other than that, not too bad where he lives. Guest GMoney
All my neighbor's lost a ton of shingles trees and siding. My house was untouched. New roof FTW. I did lose half a tree, so i get to fire up the chain saw though! My work currently has no power and hopefully won't tommorrow so i won't have to go in. TTQ B4U
we made it through fairly well. I guess it paid to have our trees thined and trimmed every year like we've been doing. our main crimson maple in the center of our front lost one small branch. otherwise, the wind tried, but went right through her. same with our pear trees. everyone always loses pear trees, but ours made it through yet again. one small 8' long branch that likely was a victim of numerous garbage truck visits came down, but thankfully in the street: other than the 1,000 pounds of leaves and small pine branches in the back yard, we're good trees out back are thinned of needles now
