TimTaylor751647545500
Very cool! I like this one especially. Reminds me of "Into The Wild" for some reason. http://i396.photobucket.com/albums/pp48/essex-sykes/a14.jpg
2 Sweet
Wow, those pictures are fucking sweet dude. Where were you at?
Chad is Dead
They were taken at about 3 different places. All in Ohio. Nelsonville Train Yard{nelsonville, Oh} Nelson Water Center{You can see it off of 670 south...has graffiti written on it}...and the last is called the Gates of Hell. It's right off High street behind a thrift store in Columbus...It's called the gates of hell because bmx riders used to race down it and it got so dark that someone actually died by missing a turn{as I've heard}
Chad is Dead
and the second to last picture of the statue person thing....I was walking in the front w/ a flashlint and it was completely dark and I turned a corner and saw that thing. I swear I jumped up and touched the ceiling. It scared the fuck out of me!!!

ImUrOBGYN
That's pretty sweet. Good pics. My gf and I like to do this, as well. Both urban and outdoors. I have a place in mind I would like to hit up before too long. Don't really want to do it in the winter, so it may have to wait if I don't get time before then. Patrick
I used to go to the treatment plant when I was a teenager and lived in Bexley. Definitely some good times. Nelson rd or the one on Alum Creek? Gates of hell is right by hagley field..."blood bowl" it's been called. Also, another cool place is right above 161. Science Abuse
check out http://www.ohioexploration.com/ i work with the guy who runs iit. he has some pretty cool stuff on there. Neat page, but he's missing allot. Some Columbus exploring pics of mine from this weekend (sorry for the poor lighting): Cave 1, Climb a ledge and find this: http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/4226/enterdl7.jpg http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/enterdl7.jpg/1/w922.png Peer straight down into the blackness: http://img530.imageshack.us/img530/7678/downtx9.jpg http://img530.imageshack.us/img530/downtx9.jpg/1/w692.png Looking up from the floor of the initial shaft, 28feet down". The shaft arcs, cant see daylight. http://img375.imageshack.us/img375/9880/outyv6.jpg The "drain" in the bottom of the shaft, gets real tight, keeps going down: http://img375.imageshack.us/img375/727/draingc1.jpg Drain leads into the deepest point (elevation) of this small system: 37 feet below where you started, about 45-50ft below the surface. This room ranges 4-5ft high, but has a narrow "teardrop" profile, 4ft at it's widest. http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1124/trapxd9.jpg The last tight passage, with the "diamond cutter" rock (has a diamond profile, cuts your ribs). This is just big enough for my 36" waist to wiggle around, and leads to another room of similar dimensions to the last. http://img300.imageshack.us/my.php?image=diamondmm2.jpg That's as far as I went today. I have been to the last room, but with a group of other cavers. I was alone today, surveying the cave, and ran out of courage at the diamondcutter. It's an extremely tight fit, and requires contortion.
Chad is Dead
Science Abuse that looks like a pretty neat place. I'm more into run down urban places but also love nature stuff but I'll admit I get a little anxious when it's tight spaces. Post up more pics of the bottom if you go again. Brrcats
That exploration site is definitely neat, although the paranormal shit freaked me out. Some of the photos and sound bites are definitely way too real for my taste.
wnaplay1647545503
I dont know where the hell you wre but I would get the hell outta there. I was expecting to start seeing body parts spread out everywhere.
Science Abuse
A neat fungus from the bottom, whit fuzzy columns going straight up: http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/5440/fungusyu0.jpg Also, a nook in the shaft that I left out: http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/8096/cubbyyu7.jpg The shiny stuff is some kinda life form that holds thousands of individual drops of water, hence the shine. Creepiest life form I've found: http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/2834/nomfa0.jpg
