I haven't had one for years....

My first two cars were 3rd gens though, and I always miss them when I actually see a nice one still rolling around

I had an 86 Berlinetta (REALLY slow) 305 5.0

and a 85 Z28 (still slow)

I tried to make it fast but I was still pretty dumb back then

crate 305 (yeah I know, WTF was I thinking)

edelbrock performer intake

edelbrock carb

MSD ignition

3.73 ls rear

built 4 speed with a shift kit

I forget what else

The car still couldn't muster better than 9's in the 1/8th mile. At the time I thought it was fast

Put me down in the had list as well. Was my first restoration type of job , bought car to fix up and resell for profit. It was a 1984 Pontiac Firebird SE , I did a little bodywork on it and laid on some kondor then had Gahanna auto body shoot it a gmc tan metallic , put on a new cat plus dynomax catback ,new tires, redid the headliner , rebuilt the 2gse carburetor , belts etc. Probably was 1997 or 1998 when I did it ?

'92 Camaro RS, I bought it when I graduated high school. 200k miles on it. Runs great, just really SLOW and looks kinda shitty.

305 TBI, automatic. Dual snorkel air cleaner, Flowmaster exhaust, shift kit, IROC rims

Plan to swap in a 350 or 383. I have no clue if I'm going to stick with TBI, go TPI, or whatever else. I badly want to swap in a T56. I am going to have it painted like the '92 green/gold Heritage Edition...

My brother owns three IROCs, here is one of them...

My 1987 IROC. 383 converted to carb, intake, headers, exhaust, alluminum heads, cam, built tranny with shift kit and stall, all that jazz. Shes ugly, but quick. Just a bit too much of a project for me at this point in my life.

omg, I had a buddy many years ago with a berlinetta. Christ it was a terrible car. lol He didn't have a mullet, so I believe it may've been slower than most. :D

sad to say i had a few of these as well. I had one of the first 82's that had the clock in the center console and the shitty crossfire fuel injection. Had a 90rs with the 305tp /5speed did a few mods to it then traded that for one of my first 5.0 cars which would be the one that got me hooked on the fox chassis.

have built a few over the years for other people aswell.

http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47166 there's one of them i have pics for

I have an 83 Z with 68k on the clock. Right now I am awaiting a new motor, put in the T-56, and 91-92 Ground effects to update the look. I have had the car for about 7 years now. I bought it when I was 16.

Chris has had the car for 7 years ... however... the car has about 7 days of drive time on it. But let me tell you this those 7 days of drive time were the greatest 7 days in the history or 3rd gens.
