is honda paying for transmission replacement on all 2003 v6 honda odyessy's under 100,000 miles? huge skip in the 2nd-3rd shift, code p0470, flashing "D" indicator, i am being told it was a recall, yet cant find the info, then some dealers say they cover all, some say part, some say none.

when i worked for them, they would cover some. i dont remember what years or anything. i guess it just depends on what honda says. the only thing i can say is go up to where you bought it and see what they say to you. im sure if you bitch about it enough they will cover it lol

i work for honda and it depends but im sure they warranty all those ive seen like 10 getting new trans in the last 2 months but i can checked for u 2morrow well today and post on here and let u know!

Talked to my service manager at honda east he said you bring it and he'll get it done. he said that it is warranty so. jus call and ask for joe pistole or talk to a service writer

Not that I have anything worth while to add to this thread but, I have noticed that the tranny's in those vans seem to have some issues. Im hoping that they have redesigned it? Or are they just replacing them with the same thing? Everyone of those that come into our shop have the darkest black nasty tranny fluid that I have ever seen, even if they only have like 30,000- 40,000 miles on then.
