About midweek we all boarded our 25' Sea Ray cabin cruiser for a short trip down the Lower Buckhorn to the Gallery on the Lake, we being my 3 of my family and 5 of another particularly larger type built family. Well the old Sea Ray was only outfitted with a single 260hp Mercruiser I/O and could not get on plane with all 8 of us on the deck. My father was at a loss of words trying to ask the elder two of the other family to make the trip in cabin of the boat so we could make the trip at more than 15 knots.
