sol740
What about the thread on another forum where the guy asked if the engine spins backwards in reverse? Lol ... I love lettuce, I didn't know it would add mad power. Srsly turbos ftw. I just need a bigger one now.
Smokey
I've always been partial to turbo cars, but mostly due to the ease of extra power from factory turbocharged setups. As far as overall F/I solutions I think that turbos have come quite a long way in the past years. It's now much easier to find a proper turbo that can give both big power and a broad power curve. Superchargers and spray still have their places. It just depends on what you want to do with your setup.
Drewhop
Turbo is the way to go. But I have to admit I love a high revving engine as well
Tripleskate
Boost or s/c, their both way too much fun to listen to.

Draco-REX
Depends on the engine and what it will be used for. But for a DD.. Much as I loved my T/A, I think Turbo is better. If you keep your foot out of it, you'll get better mileage.
CRed05
Turbochargers all the way! They aren't nearly as parasitic as superchargers - pretty much free horsepower. Now a lot of you will probably disagree with me here, but to me nitrous is cheating. Its the same to me as an athlete using steroids. Its an completely outside source that the engine doesnt work for. Not to mention it runs out.

Alex L.
I've grown quite accustomed to turbos over the past couple of years. Boost is just too fun.
87GT
This brings up a thread I made about 4 years ago on here.. does VTEC work in reverse? I never tried when I had my Civic. This has been confirmed as working in reverse on another board. VTEC always works. It is like turbo except a lot more gay. Its like WOO WOOOOOOOO You know what i'm sayin? Farkas
I've grown pretty fond of boost since I bought my VW.. but you still can't get over the sound of a well built high-revving N/A car. Not to mention the throttle repsonse over boosted applications.
GonneVille
Strip=turbo>blower>spray>na Street=turbo>blower>na>spray daily driving=blower>turbo>na>spray Sorry, NO2 dudes, but spray sucks. When I step on the gas, my car goes faster. I do the install, and I'm done spending money, other than fuel and maintenance. When you get done with your install, you have to go and have your bottle inspected and filled, and when you run out, you have to do it again. For power, turbos are pretty much it, but when it comes to driving the car everyday, a blower car is just more comfortable. The power delivery is linear, consistent, and instant. No lag, no lurch, just a smooth increase in power as your foot approaches the floor. I might also throw in that it's just so much easier to tune a supercharged car, or a car with an add-on S/C. Never had to tune a S/C car so i cant argue there, but cant be that much easier.
