Draco-REX
Had Wheel Medic powdercoat another set of rims for me. This time for the Rally Car. Those of you who are sick of seeing black rims should be happy: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3160/2950302482_20c96b5513_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3143/2950303098_c399669f77_b.jpg The white goop on the tires is from when the tires were mounted. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3035/2949452621_e049a28fe6_b.jpg I'm so used to seeing Brembos behind these that my rotors look small. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3285/2950300938_9e6b697184_b.jpg Here's the stock set I had Wheel Medic do a while ago: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3120/2629074686_57a0016cf5_b.jpg

Draco-REX
nice and colorfull Don't be too critical. ;P Here's my other ride: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3224/2675973790_7b371087c1_o.jpg But I thought I'd show that Wheel Medic can do something other than black. HotCarl
I was stoped at a red light behind your black car the other day by Tuttle mall. It looked very nice but i do have one question. Whats with the CB antennae on the back? tell me its for something else?

SpaceGhost
I thought powder coating STI BBS wheels is a big no no. I thought the process weakened them and made them prone to cracks?
Guest GMoney
I thought powder coating STI BBS wheels is a big no no. I thought the process weakened them and made them prone to cracks? It normally ok if they use a low temp power coat. I can not comment on what wheel medic uses but they do alot more expensive wheels than some BBS's so they should know what they are doing. Draco-REX
I was stoped at a red light behind your black car the other day by Tuttle mall. It looked very nice but i do have one question. Whats with the CB antennae on the back? tell me its for something else? It is a CB antenna. It's for car-to-car when friends and I go driving around the Hocking Hills area. Additionally, when I'm travelling, it's good to get warnigns of cops. Truckers beat radar detectors every time. You'll know there's a cop ahead MILES before a radar detector would go off. You sure like big wings. Yup. And I'm not apologizing. I thought powder coating STI BBS wheels is a big no no. I thought the process weakened them and made them prone to cracks? Funny thing about that. In *theory*, powdercoating forged rims will weaken them. However, I've only ever seen one rim fail. Most of the arguments against it are based on what supposedly happens when you bake them. Also, the one that did break did so when he was tracking the car on R-comps. These rims will never see stresses like that, nor the black set.
