my metal phase was right as Metallica came up, still have a few of the tapes somewhere...yeah...tapes baby.

 

I definitely went as far as getting way into Pantera. Listened to a bit of Slayer, Entombed, and Cannibal Corpse.

 

I've been out of the metal scene for quite some time, and I liked the stuff that Scott and Schmuck posted but I don't regularly listen to metal any more.

 

I'm sure I'll get flamed to crap for this, but lately I've been taking it back to the new-funk sounds of G. Love

Hatebreed is the worst fucking band in the world. I hate them so much. In concert, the vocals dude tries acting tough and jumps around the whole stage while nearly everyone in the crowd is still looking on in awkwardness.

 

I don't see many people talk about Soilwork so it makes me hot for you. <3

Hatebreed makes me want to punch babies. But yes Soilwork wins, among many other European rock bands. The U.S is lacking on the hardness lately, we're getting too damn soft.

I agree with you 100% Ben music these days sucks.... I listen to (mostly) older 70s and 80s stuff but it is hard to not get caught up in some of that catchy new stuff especially when you are at a bar and some attractive ladies are going crazy on eachother over it...

Sorry but the 80's are gone, and thank God all the shit-tastic music. Granted I despise emo, poppy, punk bullshit, but there's a lot better music out there. A lot better than Metallica
