XChris1632X
I have came across a couple situations I have seen people obtain info on other peoples property I never thought was public. My situation is, I tried to buy a house a few years ago and ended up backing out of the deal. I wish now that I hadn't and I want the house. Someone else bought it shortly after and I hear they are struggling now. I want to find out how much they bought the house for so I can figure out an offer to show up on their doorstep with. I want this house and I am willing to pay for it, but with as little cost as possible. Is this information obtainable?
Clifford Automotive
find the auditors webpage of whatever county the house is in.

XChris1632X
It is union county and I found it. It hasn't been updated since 99 though. The owners at the time I was looking to purchase from said they bought the house as a forecloser from the original owners who built the house in 99. It still shows original owners. It also is only listing the property as a one parcel of 8 acres. The total acreage of the property is now 15 with two seperate plots. Unless I am missing something. http://realestate.co.union.oh.us/cgi-bin/db2www.pgm/qsys.lib/cgibin.lib/mfcdweb.file/req.mbr/main?midf=MID&midn=200013004100
evan9381
ive got a site i use at work all day. i do collections so quite often i have to verify property ownership and values, etc, before we sue. ill have to see if i can find it 1) http://publicrecords.netronline.com/townfinder.aspx <--- click. scroll down to find county by zip code (unless you know it) 2) enter zip code, press "search". it will show you the county that zip is located in 3) go to top, select "select a new state" 4) choose state. either click on map, or at the box below the map 5) choose county from list on left 6) will come up with a list of offices that should help you. auditor, recorder, register of deeds, assessor, etc etc. some counties may not have the info listed online. some states (CA for example) will give you property info, sale date, sq footage, sale amount, but not who the property is owned by you can use this for a pretty large majority of the country. you dont even need much info except a name, address, and the county to find out info about someones home if you know the county you're looking for, skip step
evan9381
looks like you have the info thats provided. you can call the auditors office (number listed on that site) and they should be able to give you info too

Clifford Automotive
Evan I just tried using the webpage you supplied. Since Ive never used to before. And Im lost. I put in a zip code it loads the next screen that looks almost identical...but then where do you go from there?
evan9381
when you put in the zip (say, 43230), and click search, it will show up with what county it is. if you dont need the county, and you know which you're looking for, skip that go up to select a state, click the state, then scroll to the county
