DTM Brian
Holy torque! Any pics of said truck? Customer asked that I not post pics of it. I am sure you can use your imagination as to why. I am told it pulls the left front tire on the street.
John Bruh
520ft/lb right at 2k rpm edit cause i cant read a dyno sheet
Trouble Maker
520hp right at 2k rpm That's the TQ curve you are looking at. Bryan, is the nitrous tune richer/has less timing, or was the car just warmer by that point? Or, why is there less power/tq before the nitrous kicks in on the nitrous run than the non-nitrous run? Trouble Maker
2 Degrees less timing and a 1/2 point richer A/F as a buffer with the spray. Does he have to 'manually' switch the tunes when he wants to run the nitrous or is there some way that automatically switches it when the nitrous is armed? BDHG940
thats gotta be fun, pulling the front wheel on the streets is pretty badass! I have been looking at some lightnings and thinking of parting with the tbss. There was a red one at a light last night in westerville, clean as hell and is making me think I really do need to get a mod motor powered daily. You know of any guys having the plugs blow out of the head on the lightnings?
Aesthetic_Influx
Wow, that is impressive. I can't even imagine that much torque at such a low rpm. Very nice work!

You know of any guys having the plugs blow out of the head on the lightnings? only the 99-01 heads do that, 02-04 have way more threads and thus keeping the plugs in better. I hand ported my 01 heads and as long as you torque them right and use anti seize your pefectly fine
BDHG940
Thats cool, Im new to them and if the TBSS sells, Im going to keep an eye out for a lightning. Dave1647545494
many of the 99-01 L's had the heads replaced under warranty becuase of the sparkplug problem if they havn't let go by now your probably ok with one
