I buy 1K rounds of .22lr at a time. When I'm at the ranch in NM, I can use all the rounds in one day popping prairie dogs! The most fun is trying to hit the bastards on the run at 200 yards.

i dont know that id be using any rifle for home defense... last thing i need is for a bullet to go straight through someone, through the wall and into the apartment next door.

Best is what you shoot the best, in trying to accomplish a specific goal. My best full frame pistol is bound to be different than the next guy's.
