By the way the turbo 5.0's rev( spinning the tires the whole time) I would have set my shift light at around 3500. From that point it would just blow off the tires and go to redline instantly before you could get the clutch in to shift :-)

Ive been getting down to my new place to work on the 7 alot more lately.

Heres a small update.

 

I have decided to make sure all my sensors electrical connections, body work and paint is done before I even think about Turboing this bad mother fucker.

 

I have allot to do. The engine bay is a nightmare literally. Wires and connectors hanging everywhere and I have not a clue where most of it go. I have been tackling most of it slowly.

 

Right now been trying to get the Interior the way I want it and all my gauges hooked up and working correctly. All I need to do is buy a A Pillar gauge "Double" for my Boost and AutoMeter "matching rest of them in the center console" and "Cyberdyne" MPH gauge bright blue. I have rear seats in the RX7 that alone is very rare and I have never seen them in any other RX7. Not my style so I wil be going to get a rear seat delete with cubby holes to store stuff like a Nitrous bottle and or a bottle of VHT.

 

Heres some of my Gauge cluster I fabbed it up myself and had alot of help from my friend Chris with teaching me how find continuity and voltage. Thanks Chris:thumbup:

The cluster and diamond plate trim is 98 percent done gotta trim down the ashtray piece and find a way to make the gauges stay in the cluster itself behind the steering wheel, paint the white bezel surrounding the Shift light, hook up the turn signal lights and cut a hole for the CD player in the center dash.

 

It took me forever cause im starting to now open up a bit and take chances with stuff, before I would be scared to cut something and or take a chance on some stuff but after working with all this old stuff and learning that you can literally make do with what you got and OEM materials can be modded to make better or stronger there is no limit to what any one peron can do with there own two hands.

I also picked these up, Pretty sweet and cheap 89 bucks for each wheel minus tires.

 

They are Jegs brand almost a direct knock off of the ProStars. Mustang Bolt pattern and only 4 inches of resistance.:o

Once the VW is outta the shop gonna slap these on and take some pics.

 

 

The rears on the car will be the same hopefully gonna try to fit some 15x8's with some spacers and the tallest 555R i can find and fit under there.

why 555r's? or are you not looking for traction?

Truth! 555Rs blow balls and suck for traction. M/T FTW!

 

Thats just for the street.

 

Now the Drag radials will be mounted up in the back with a heavy ass jack to put on whenever someone wants to play:p

 

just street drive the M/t's..:confused::gtfo:
