MrMeanGreen
I miss them being together. I miss their music. Chris Cornell's new band just doesn't do it for me. Discuss.
sol740
I love me some Soundgarden. Though I don't think they'd still have what they had 10 years ago if they were to get back together. A little Superunknown will cure what ails ya.
Cordell
meh, they weren't that good. Dream Theater is much better. Stick with them.
wagner
meh, they weren't that good. Dream Theater is much better. Stick with them. Yea just not a huge Garden fan but the beer chuging guitar player was pretty cool. Now Audioslave was pretty good.
sol740
Now Audioslave was pretty good. They had some decent tracks, but IMO Soundgarden, and Rage, should've just stayed put.

Sorry bud, but Audioslave was worse. I bought Soundgarden, but didn't even download Audioslave. Listen to some Dream Theater, Nightwish, and 8 Days Dead, tell me what you think. wagner
They had some decent tracks, but IMO Soundgarden, and Rage, should've just stayed put. Not going to argue the Rage point. That was a big mistake spliting that group up.
Patrick
I miss them being together. I miss their music. Chris Cornell's new band just doesn't do it for me. Discuss. I'm going to have to agree there. Some critic was saying one of his new songs was "epic". I don't believe it.
Draco-REX
They had some decent tracks, but IMO Soundgarden, and Rage, should've just stayed put. I agree on Soundgarden.. I also miss Alice in Chains. But Rage needed to break up, sorry. Old Rage was good, but Zach was getting too full of himself. The last album of theirs I bought I owned for less than a day. I sold it to a used record store when I realized I had just paid money to have someone yell at me.
Mopar
Soundgarden was the shit, I'll agree that they couldn't keep the same style they had. Look at metallica, I bet the same thing would have happened to soundgarden. I didn't get into ratm, I liked some of their earlier stuff. Mopar
Alice in chains is a tie with sound garden of the best band ever imo.
sol740
I sold it to a used record store when I realized I had just paid money to have someone yell at me. LOL ... isn't that every record they released ? I couldn't get enough of it.
Patrick
I really only liked the debut and Evil Empire. Was never too big on their last album.
Draco-REX
LOL ... isn't that every record they released ? I couldn't get enough of it. They started by yelling at the government, which is fine. But then he started attacking all Americans, and I couldn't take the hypocrisy. eBell
The day I tried to live /thread Pull the trigger, drop the blade and watch the rolling heads.... My favorite band. Saw them twice at the Warfield in SFO. Outstanding live performers.
SinisterSS
the superunknown album was great, but after that I just kinda faded away from Soundgarden, there's a lot of great bands I wish were still around but aren't

TheHaze
<3 Cornell. Phenomenal voice. I have loved everything he was apart of, even solo work. Him and Eddie Vedder are two of my favorite vocalists. ...and how can you not like this? ...and Rage can eat my ass. One of the most annoying bands in history. Chad is Dead
Cornell's solo shit is my favorite.......but then my buddy the other day played me some new shit that was Cornell produced by Timbaland and my buddy said it was awesome.....it was the biggest piece of shit I've ever heard.
