Radio Flyer1647545514
At 5 am we were behind 10 people or so. One person had a tent and that group got there at 12 I heard. A good amount came behind us. I got a first spot at a window.
Main3s
Thoughts on playing Detroit in the first round...? PROS. -Unlike playing Vancouver or another team out in the far west, at least they won’t have to travel far. -Nash plays really well against the Red Wings as do the Jackets as a team. (in the reg. season) - The Red Wings have struggled against teams in the 1st round. CONS - Since Detroit is so close and if the regular season is any reflection, Jacket fans BETTER show up or the “home” crowd will 60-40 in favor of Detroit. - It’s the NHL playoffs and it’s nothing like the reg. season. The Red Wings have experience and know how to take it up to the next level. - the Jackets haven’t looked as dominate the last few games. I hope the Jackets knock the Wings out! If not they better make it a 7 game decision. As much as this may suck, it’s great to have their 1st playoff match up be against Detroit, GO JACKETS! Wease
I'm MUCH happier about the Jackets playing Detroit in the first round over Vancouver. The Canucks are hot and I wouldn't want to travel or play Luongo right now. Detroit is beatable, especially with their goaltending this year. Neither Conklin nor Osgood impress me. This is a winnable series for sure...

TheHaze
x2 Plus nationwide will be INTENSE for everyones first playoff game, especially against Detroit. It'll be a great series to watch, at least I hope. Except for all of the soulless Columbus fans that sell off their tickets to Wings fans; I won't be surprised when I see half of Nationwide filled with Red jerseys. Despite that, I agree with this being a decent way to get past the first round; Osgood has flopped this season and Conklin is, for the most part, overrated. I was at the Minnesota game on Saturday night; first period was great, but the Jackets seem to stutter without Huselius up front. I also hope Brassard is ready soon. Main3s
I'm excited! Anyone know if they'll still do the $10.00 tickets before the game (I'm sure they won't be $10.00) but hell even if their $30.00 nose bleed tickets I'd stand in line! verse
I also hope Brassard is ready soon. Brassard has said himself that he could be ready for the playoffs, but I've heard that Howson isn't going to let him play in the playoffs regardless. No need to rush him back, he's already had shoulder surgery before, and back then they said it could have been career ending. So no need to rush him back. We might see Filatov in a playoff game though, we'll see. I'm excited! Anyone know if they'll still do the $10.00 tickets before the game (I'm sure they won't be $10.00) but hell even if their $30.00 nose bleed tickets I'd stand in line! They are going to be $20. I really hope Jackets fans show up for this, don't let the Red Wings get in this line. We might have to have some security go down there and kick out every Red Wings fan in the line. Jackets fans only.

verse
http://blog.dispatch.com/cbj/2009/04/brassard_hopes_for_earlier_ret.shtml A news article I didn't see from yesterday about Brassard. Looks like he's going to see a doctor and get the clear to play. We'll see. I'd love to have him back out there.
Supplicium
Us Jackets fans better be ready to dish out all the trash talking cause detriot is bringing all the goons. I just got tickets 5th row in detriot for 120$ for 1 away game and my psl seats 110 10 rows up for the series.
TheHaze
Saw Modin eating at Benihana tonight, with his family. I left him alone but did throw in a "Good luck, Freddy" when he was leaving.
mseebs
After how they've played the last couple games of this season. This Detroit game could turn pretty rough. But I'm trying to have faith.

But I'm trying to have faith. Detroit was 3-6-1 in their last 10 games. I'd say the Jackets have just as much chance in taking the series. I just got tickets 5th row in detriot for 120$ for 1 away game and my psl seats 110 10 rows up for the series. holy shit really? me and my buddy just got 3 tickets in the 3rd row up behind the goal for 120 each. I would usually NEVER drop that kind of money on a ticket but this is the one and only playoff game im going to get to so i'll splurge a bit. From what I understand the Jackets attack this side of the ice twice. kinda wish we could sit behind Mase so we can show support at the pregame shoot around but oh well. I was going to see if there were any Jacket Backers going, maybe for a pre or post game beer around the area.
excell
I'm going to try and score a couple green seats for the 21st. I work one block away, as long as the weather is decent I'll sit there all day with my laptop - I can work anywhere. I can prolly do shifts with a couple guys at my office too. Maybe the Hockeytown Cafe? I've been on many road trips with the Jacket Backers in the past and we've always pre-gamed on the way up on the bus as well as somewhere beforehand. Wease
If it's anything like the last Detroit - Columbus game I was at, I'll be yapping with more than a few Detroit fans. A few of them got pissed me at me for giving Osgood shit and I fired right back at them. I can't stand Detroit or their fans in OUR arena... Main3s
Yo debo are we getting the tickets for the game in Detroit on Sat? Yeah, I heard that the Blue Jacket Backers (the Fan Club) bought tickets in Detroit for Saturdays game for fan club members. I think they go on sale today at noon. tickets are like $40-$50. Not a bad deal if you don't mind watching in Detroit.... It's hard to sort out what's a real legit way to get tickets from just what people "heard".... Haha, That's why I'm spreading more way's that I heard to get tickets.
