TTQ B4U
We seem to have a good number of folks wielding a camera either for fun or more so I thought I'd start a thread to see what everyone's favorite car-shoot locations are? I'd like to look into trying some various locations as I'm sure others would. If you could please 1. Tell the location / Details on where it's at and/or how to get there. 2. Feel free to post shots. Let's see what kind of good shots we can get as the spring/summer unfold!

Alex L.
I always thought that the train tracks and grafitti down by the convention center would be cool at night. Wouldn't go there alone or even with one other person though.
scheetz31
Down Nationwide Blvd...West of Neil Thats where i took these http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa28/scheetz31/UrbanBuell3-HDR.jpg http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa28/scheetz31/UrbanBuell5-HDR.jpg http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa28/scheetz31/UrbanBuell6-HDR.jpg http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa28/scheetz31/UrbanBuell1-HDR.jpg
Alex L.
Right by the river would be cool too. There's a limitless amount of good locations in Cbus. Traffic would be a giant bitch to deal with, however.

Sco0terzsl
Wallhalla Rd. just north of campus has a lot of vegetation and it's a light traffic road so you can typically block it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v443/Sco0terzsl/06%20Mini%20Cooper%20S/IMG_8552copy.jpg Park at Riverside/Fishinger http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v443/Sco0terzsl/93%20White%20G20/CRW_1669.jpg There is a cool rusty barn near Don Scott Airport http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v443/Sco0terzsl/Zach%20NSX/CRW_6011.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v443/Sco0terzsl/Photo%20Cruise%2008/IMG_9388copy.jpg Same spot, but another angle. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v443/Sco0terzsl/Photo%20Cruise%2008/IMG_9450copy.jpg Then of course you have Cosi but explore other angles other than the city... that's a good spot. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v443/Sco0terzsl/Sam%20Hatch/IMG_5390copy.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v443/Sco0terzsl/93%20White%20G20/CRW_1918.jpg Then of course the city view http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v443/Sco0terzsl/Sam%20Hatch/IMG_5366copy.jpg I also enjoyed out by Port Columbus, towards the viewing area there is a pretty cool hanger. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v443/Sco0terzsl/Chris%20SI/CRW_2558.jpg

Scotty2Hotty
Right off riverside in anyone of the pull offs or park areas is always a decent shot.
GonneVille
The train overpass next to that weird looking pagoda thing across from Vet's Memorial is pretty cool. There is one pass-through in the curb around it on the side facing the Spaghetti Factory where you can get in underneath. Sunday afternoon or evening is best, as there seem to cars randomly parked there throughout the week. I took these underneath the causeway there: http://gonneville.smugmug.com/photos/299942081_egX7Y-L.jpg http://gonneville.smugmug.com/photos/299942074_qGDxo-L.jpg http://gonneville.smugmug.com/photos/299943066_jaChv-L.jpg http://gonneville.smugmug.com/photos/299948421_EHEig-L.jpg
Sparky
Hoover of course, from both sides. The Sunbury upper and lower lots and the Frisbee golf side just off of Central College.
TimTaylor751647545500
Agreed. Alex L.
The JC Penny Outlet store would be cool just for the architecture. Would be hard to find a time without a ton of people there though. The convention center could work out sometime. My # is available if anyone ever wants to get a group to go down there (need some people with CCWs). The convention center could work out sometime. My # is available if anyone ever wants to get a group to go down there (need some people with CCWs). I will go no need for a CCW. Plus Ohio=Open Carry. I found some pretty crazy out in the middle of no where spots but most of them you dont want to travel to in a nice car.... I have a shitty camera but you get the point. http://i339.photobucket.com/albums/n460/Drewhop1/SwampyArea1.jpg http://i339.photobucket.com/albums/n460/Drewhop1/Fishing/areawefishedinaug13.jpg Both of those places are absolutely awesome looking when it gets dark but I would not go there in anything that didnt have at least a foot of ground clearence. The second pic you could get there with a car and it is right along the water.
Alex L.
I'm sure if we got enough big dudes (Hal, Brian, Andy, etc.) that we'd be fine. It would still be nice to have the security of a zombie killer.

Alex L.
Just saw the Spaghetti Warehouse comment. I haven't been up there in ages, but if my memory serves me correctly, then that place would be tits.
2 Sweet
I love threads like this. Great pics guys. There are definitely some good spots I'll need to check out. One of my favorite spots is this tiny town called Lilly Chapel, just south of West Jefferson... http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c295/skoval25/Car%20pics/8-11-08014.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c295/skoval25/Car%20pics/8-11-08005.jpg http://i378.photobucket.com/albums/oo224/gtpspeedin/8-11-08004.jpg
