Popular Post muzzsayyid
Hey my name is Muzzy. I have an 06 MKV GTI. Some of the mods i've done most of the basic mods, dp, intake, chip. Im originally from the DC northern virginia area so Im looking to meet the columbus crowd. Since Ive been in Columbus I've kinda been hanging with the bikers, quaker stake, taco bell, etc, but since my 07 gsxr-600 got stolen Ive been working on the car. http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr340/sayyid1/IMG_2249.jpg http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr340/sayyid1/IMG_2247.jpg http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr340/sayyid1/IMG_2207.jpg

muzzsayyid
ha i guess everyone hates the mirrors. In my defense the mirrors came stock and Ive been messing with other stuff so I havnt had time to paint them over. I would never pay to upgrade to the chrome mirrors. Also going to paint the sides of the hood red and the side markers red too.

I think if you painted the sides of the hood red, and picked up the carbon grill, it would bring the entire front end together nicely. http://memimage.cardomain.com/ride_images/2/4161/4441/22902220001_large.jpg But those mirror caps are hopeless. lol. muzzsayyid
I definitely have that in mind. Its from Osir and costs about $250. As money is always an issue,... the next 200 bucks going to my car will be for a an upgraded diverter valve to harness the boost better. And before the dv im getting the hood and other stuff painted. But its definitely on the to do list. I just purchased this boost guage from awe http://tuninggruppe.com/index/images/AWE_mk5_lighting_v2.jpg, just waiting to get it installed. Maybe its just me, but I have a big problem deciding when to spend money on performance parts and when to put money into looks. I think I've been leaning toward performance mostly so far. So after the initial critisism of the mirror caps, lets see what everyone thinks about a visual mod that I actually did. Painted the inside trim to match the exterior. http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr340/sayyid1/IMG_4222.jpg You should really pic up the carbon grill cover to match your hood. Aaron
I have to be honest, I am not a fan of your style.........at all. HOWEVER, it is your car, and as long as you like it that is all that matters. I would have just done the belt line trim in Red and kept the center dash and vents oem black.
