KlubFoot Posted April 14, 2009 Report Share Posted April 14, 2009 Wraps dont hold up nearly as well as paint. My truck was wrapped a few years ago and it started to show wear immediately. But this is driven daily. Just like a paint job, it all depends on the prep work, materials used and time taken for a proper installation. I've seen a shitty paint job show almost immediate deterioration as well. Wraps aren't a permanent solution. However, with the newer vinyls and over laminates, it's not uncommon to see a 5 year WARRANTY placed on a daily driven wrap.
