88lx5oh Posted April 15, 2009 Report Share Posted April 15, 2009 and ill be picking up a Honda VFR800 Interceptor. will be picking it up friday. i love the R6 and it doesnt do to bad for that long trip. but i want to do ALOT more long trips, and ill be taking the wife with me. by myself im more than fine on the R6, but add her on the back of that back and her leaning on me puts alot of pressure on the wrist and limits my movement for comfort. and im sure as well that tiny seat isnt comfy for her either. so the VFR should be perfect. still sporty, but has a great setup for touring. 100 hp 55tq 800cc V4 enough punch for me, and still handles like a sportbike. but the ergos on the bike are perfect for the riding we want to do. will post pics later on. XChris1632X Posted April 16, 2009 Report Share Posted April 16, 2009 I finally got a chance to talk to Foulk here recently and he told me he got rid of the VFR. He said he loved it and I even enjoyed riding it. Sounds like you are making a good choice, but I am sure Matt wont like it since he would finally have someone to ride long distance with now.
