anybody else think the ass end kinda resembles a cross between a older impala and a vette?

Yes, but skylines have always had that 4 round tail-lights look going on. You can always tell when you are behind a skyline, has somewhat of an "afterburner" look.

that mud escape mats pic is hilarious!

there's a pic on the net somewhere with a GT-R parked next to a cobalt SS with the big wing. shot was taken from the back.

you'd be shocked at how similar they look... let me try to find it

Nissan screwed the pooch no matter what. Who gives a $hit if a car has XXX amount of hp if the damn thing can't put the power to the ground without voiding the warranty.

Anyone else catch how the engineer never answered the question about turning off the VDC as many times as the owner wants?? Imagine that. All just one big marketing scheme. Nothing more.

You're both wrong...R32 or BUST!!!

Ok the secret ricer inside of me really likes the R34 more...oh well.

R32 FTW

The R33 looks like an ugly pregnant chick, and the R34 looks like it was designed by a civic driving Mexican.

The problem isn't the failures, the problem is that Nissan decided to try and blame an engineering problem on their customers. If Nissan had done ANYTHING to try and solve the problems for 09 buyers, they wouldn't be catching the shit they are now. Instead, they acted like a bunch weaselly little cock-whistlers. Fuck Nissan.

if the owners manual says to use it for a certain reason, and you use it for another reason... then you shouldnt get shit fixed. Thats like people trying to warrenty center diffs when they drove around turns in 4WL...

If you buy a car with any kind of "toys" in it, you should read the manual and use the toys as listed.

Nissan = Fail..

it's just a coincidence that the "launch control" that isn't really launch control helped to make the car go faster 0-60...

Well drrr... think about what it does... it effectively turns a 1600rpm stall converter into a 4500rpm stall converter... wtf did you think would happen??? It would get slower? Think McFly, think...
