Our customer brought in his 09 Challenger RT with a Mopar Performance Short Ram Intake and Corsa Catback. We installed a set of Kooks Headers and a tune.

so stock it dynoed 328?

thats a 25% drivetrain loss ... OMG

Stock is 370 crank hp. 323 is 87% of the 370 crank hp. So 13% loss with intake and exhaust.

You are thinking of the SRT-8's 425 crank hp which would be about 25% loss.

Great gains and a nice bottom end torque but it drops like off a rock.

Engine design must have some issues?

I believe its a head flow issue, in conjunction with some cam timing, that is why, seems there is sharp decrease in velocity and mass obviously being able to get into the engine.

Some heads and a cam will do it justice! They are nice cars!
