Akula Posted September 24, 2009 Report Share Posted September 24, 2009 Back when I used to race regularly, we would always see guys with the chute hooked to something that would tear off when it deployed. Guest Removed Posted September 24, 2009 Report Share Posted September 24, 2009 How do the release mechanisms on those actually work? handle in the cab. cable runs back to the release for it. normally , you shove the handle just after the 1000 mark, that way it opens after you cross the line.
