For any real wheel whore, the saying goes- "Buy the wheels in the size you really want, and worry about making them fit later."

I'm sure that what this guy was thinking when he got these wheels too.

I like the rusted look if done right on certain cars. The biggest draw for me is the not having to worry about it scratches and shit so much. Also, it'd keep people from fucking leaning on it. Of course, now they could and it wouldn't matter.

+1 and I still don't understand the tire stretch thing. Fucking GAY

Neither do I. Then again, I can't see the appeal of a Camaro, either.

My thoughts, exactly.

Well unlike you guys I can appreciate where you're coming from, but I'll stick with the general idea that rust is bad for a car's longevety.

I would gladly take any of you for a ride in a nitrous fed V8 and then maybe you'd understand the fun in raw torque.

Cars don't have to be refined to be fun, of course the same argument could be made about rust.

Scott, I'm just fucking with you guys :)

Of course I see the appeal of Camaros- My car will never be what a Camaro could be, and I have no problem with that... and vice-versa. I'll gladly hand over the keys of my Corolla once it's running so you can enjoy something slow and nimble.. it's a completely different type of fun.

Rust does have it's appeal to some people.. I have my thoughts about it, and dread the thought of it living in a place like the mid-west where it destroys cars. Out west, however, is another story. People enjoy ratrods, ratbikes, but why not ratty looking imports? At that point people are just hating, to hate.

I love me some Z Car. Almost tempting to call about that Datsun Z on CL, good project car. Only problem is no place to store it till next year, at least. :/ One of these days!

Save your money that car is a rusted bucket pos, by the time you work and patch every panel you could of just bought a nice rust free Z.

Cordell when my car is finished I will let you take a ride in it, bet you will be more surprised then anything. If v8's are your thing that's cool I mean every import whatever knows that a v8 makes all the torque ect. Have you ever been in a well put together import? To me its build what you like and love not what everyone likes or love.

No I suppose I haven't been around any really well executed imports. I have always loved cars that came with V8s, so to me it just never got my attention. Not to mention I hate FWD cars, and a lot of imports are that way. Anyway I'd gladly let you try to change my mind.
