Ok new engine is done and in process of getting back in the car. This is a built 2007 Subaru Impreza. Was tuned with ECUFlash 418 WHP @ 19lbs on a 35R and should make similar numbers on the 30R with just a few mroe lbs of boost. Lots of room for more power. I have quite a bit invested in the car to get it where it is. Looking for offers. Also willing to look at trades plus cash. If you have any questions, you can e-mail me at JustinA@800390bike.com or call/text me on my cell at 614-266-9494. Thanks for looking!

I see it as a 07 WRX with STI parts from different years, and a larger turbo and built motor. The year of the ej257 is kinda important IMO.

I think it started life out as a run of the mill Impreza, probably because the owner knew he'd be upgrading/change everything that a WRX/STI comes with for the extra cost. Then he carried out specific modifications to make it similar to the WRX/STI's but obviously greater.

It's a nice looking car and 400hp sounds awesome, but it isn't mentioned if it has a CLEAN/CLEAR title or not.

Started life as a 2007 2.5i. All of my parts were carefully selected for different reasons. All of the wiring/ecu is 2004 STI because it is not immobilizer equiped. Using the STI wiring, I had to switch to auto climate control and the 05+ unit is what fits in my car, also looks nice. I picked the 04-05 WRX seats because they are the same as STI pretty much, just all black. The EJ257 block year I cannot be certain, but it is freshly rebuilt by Phillips Racing. The car did have a 35R on it, but only making a lil over 400awhp didn't really make since for the big power turbo. So I decided 3076 will still make the power, just spool quicker. Better for the street and 99% of the way most people drive. If the engine would have been assembled correctly the first time, I would have kept my total cost into the car under the cost of a STI. However, the rebuild I think put it over the edge. Nothing wrong with the car, I just have something else I am after. I am looking to sell quick simply because it will get traded in otherwise and go to someone who could probably care less about the work done to it. I would rather sell to someone who will appreciate the deal they are getting.`

Why the engine build? Did you blow the motor then rebuild? or did you just rebuild because of knowing of power level's you were trying to achieve? Either way its a very clean car, not over done yet very easy on the eyes. Good luck im sure someone will be happy.

Tolerences were off on the first assembly and took out #3 and #4 rod bearings. Car ran great!
